Program Objectives

✓ To introduce participants to the fundamentals of online journal publishing.
✓ To provide hands-on training on installation and setup of Open Journal Systems (OJS).
✓ To familiarize participants with the complete workflow of manuscript submission, peer review, and publication.
✓ To demonstrate effective journal management using OJS.
✓ To enhance understanding of open-source journal management systems developed by the Public Knowledge Project.

Learning Outcomes

After completing the training, participants will be able to:

✓ Understand the core concepts and functionalities of OJS.
✓ Install and configure OJS for journal publishing.
✓ Manage different journal roles including editor, reviewer, and author.
✓ Handle manuscript submission, peer review workflow, and publication processes efficiently.
✓ Utilize OJS features for effective and streamlined scholarly journal management.

Eligibility Criteria: Open to Faculty, Researchers, LIS & Patrimonial Professionals, and Students

Medium of Instruction: The training sessions will be conducted in English
